Yep... Jed is moving back to Little Rock Arkansas for the Summer! He served his mission in Little Rock and Memphis and had a really great work opportunity come up. It will be hard but I think it is just what we need! 2009 and 2010 were such crazy/awful years for us and I think this will help us out. I am sad but at the same time excited for him and I just have to remember it is temporary! So, if anyone is in need of some company, call me this summer! I would love it!

Busy!

I know i haven't updated for along time but i thought i might try it again! I'm not sure if anyone even reads this.. oh well! Well , we have been super busy lately. I still work full-time but for the past year, I've been working part-time at a clothing boutique. I love it! It is such a fun place to work and it helps support my shopping habit :). Jed is still working full time, the scout master and just started gong back to school! I am so happy for him! He is doing really well and studies way more than i ever did! So between me working a ton and him going back to school, we don't see each other much but when we do, it is the best! This is going to be a good year... I guess anything would be better than last year!

Way too long

It's been a while since I've posted anything. I promised my GF Kristi i would. Life has been crazy. I don't know how we handle it sometimes. We both work full time then work after work. I feel like i never see Jed and i miss him even though we live together. He is so amazing! He is the hardest worker i know! On top of that, Jeds younger brother Adam recently was diagnosed with cancer. Adam is just 2 years younger than Jed and his best friend. He has a sweet little boy Gaven. They have been hittin' hard with treatment. He is up at Huntsman for 5 days, and home for 2 weeks, then back there for 5 days! But on his two weeks off, he is up there for numerous tests including awful lumbar punctures! Poor guy! Last chemo round, he got such a bad infection that he had to go back to the hospital for almost a week.Life has been rough and so unexpected lately. I am so grateful for amazing family and friends to get me (and jed) through this!
Other than work, we haven't had much time for play. A few weeks ago, Kristi treated me to little St George get-a-way. It was a much needed relaxing vacation! Her parents have an AMAZING home. So we just laid out. All day. every day. It was magical!

Hawaii and 2 year anniversary

For our 2 year anniversary, we went to Hawaii! We had so much fun! Also while we were there Jed had his 27 birthday! We have so many pictures I decided to just post a few!

The first 3 days of our trip we spent on Oahu. We just hung out on Waikiki, went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and Shopping!
My favorite, guy climbing the coconut tree!

our tough guy tatoos from the PCC...
Then off to Kauai for a week! Jed was so excited to find the red bull machine. But $4 on a red bull wasn't worth it...
Our beuatiful view off our balcony...
And the view of the pool off the other balcony... we are spoiled!

oh cute.... Happy anniversary babe!
More to come later...

Guard Dog

Last night we decided to keep our 2 sliding glass doors open instead of the A/C. At about 11:30, Kota started freaking out. He ran on the deck, looked down below and was barking. Then he would run to our front door and back out to the deck. He hasn't ever acted like that before. I went out on the deck and just said to him "Kota what is going on!" (I like to think he can understand me). I didn't see anything so i went back inside but he was still being weird. So i went on the deck again and this guy was RUNNING down the side walk and got in his car and screeched away! It was creepy!! We live in an "old folks" community so most people are asleep by 9 so this was all weird. I'm so glad Kota scared the guy off whatever he was doing! Come to find out the next morning, Jeds truck had been robbed. Lovely.Luckily they only got away with a few things! I really think Kota scared them! He is so sweet but very protective.

LISTED!

Sorry I've been such a slacker! So much has been going on! I will have to post soon about our recent string of bad luck. But for now i just wanted to post our recent decision to try and sell our condo! It's bitter sweet but we will see if it will even sell! Jed bought our condo right before we started dating. I saw it in it's "before" stages. I still remember him telling me all the things he was gonig to do and i thought in my head " yeah right... good luck!" Little did i know how taleneted his is! He remodeled almost every inch! He even smoothed out the "orange peel" texture on the walls and then did a hand texture. Anyways, if you want to check it out the website is http://utahrealestate.com/900412

Salt Lake 1/2 Marathon

This is my friend Jen that I've been training for the race with. She is an amazing runner and really pushed me and we went on some really fun runs. Unfortunately during all of our training, I got a couple of injuries. I first got shin splints and was out for 3 weeks. Then I got a knee injury that put me out 2 weeks. I got back into it and was able to finish training. Race day came and the race started off great! I loved the energy and all the runners. But even before I hit mile 1, I knew my knee was going to give me trouble. By mile 2 i couldn't even bend my knee. It was so miserable. I text Jed by mile 4 saying I couldn't make it. I seriously didn't know what to do! But he text me back and encouraged me to keep going. He didn't realize how bad it was though. So there I went... running 11 miles without bending my left leg. I looked ridiculous! You should all try it or I'll gladly give you a demonstration next time I see you! I would start to tear up here and there because it was so painful. I would have people stop me and ask if i needed to stop. And of course that made me even more determined to finish! I really was so sad that I didn't do as good as I wanted. But I've gone to the doctor and to physical therapy to treat my "IT Band Syndrome" and should be good to run the Bear Lake 1/2 marathon next month!
My cute supportive husband waiting for me at the end of the race. Thanks for all the massages, ice packs, advil, foot rubs and support! He promised he is doing the next race with me!
